God Knows

With a parched heart, I run through the door
I'm sorry, there's nothing more I can do
Not even share in your pain
You won't allow me to do that

In order to live innocently, I don't look back
I turn away and leave
On the lonely rail

I'll keep following it
No matter how painful it may be or how dark the world becomes
Surely your light will always be shining
Passing on through the future
My spirit won't break down from weakness
My way will overlap yours

My feelings grow hot when delivered
And, faced with reality, melt away
There's no reason to this feeling of wanting to see you
Toward you I feel an overflowing "lovin' you"

Even if it's only a beautiful dream
As I paint it, I'll chase after it
For your lonely heart

Stop! It's not like you to lie to me!
Look into my eyes and let's talk about what will we do
I'm prepared now
The future may be dark
But if we become strong, we may just be able to change fate
I want my wish to come true
God knows everything

You were there, and I was there,
Everyone else has vanished out of sight

I also trace my scars
