How my lifestyle had changed

Idea stolen from dear friend William.
Top 10 list of things that had changed.

  1. SG- Able to grab a phone and call a friend to grab abit any time of the day no matter how late.
    UK- Able to grab a phone and call the takeaway to deliver my food only up till 2am max.
  2. SG- Able to find a wide range of food at anytime, almost everywhere even in the dead of the night, satisfying my belly.
    UK- Able to find indian food, fake chinese restaurant, and other so called local cuisine which is definitely not up to my standard everywhere in UK.
  3. SG- Able to speak without any insecurity on the pronunciation, accent and grammer. Friends will correct me if I am wrong.
    UK- Have to speak with an accent to get the meaning across. Even in perfect grammer. Insecured and low confidence. Not able to understand their humour.
  4. SG- Friends will correct and help each other out.
    UK- Friends will correct and help each other out only if u keep pestering them.
  5. SG- Happening events everyday. In fact, there's so many small events going on that it has become a bore to most singaporeans.
    UK-Happening things once in a while, nothing much going on really.
  6. SG- Club 247, drink drink party booze
    UK- Daze 247, youtube facebook uni study
  7. SG- Family hour, squabbles with siblings
    UK- Personal time, talk nonsense with online friends
  8. SG- Able to talk to lecturers.
    UK- No one I know talk to lecturers except only for extension on projects.
  9. SG- Dependent on family and friends
    UK- Independent on self.
  10. SG- I have a pet dog name Jerry.
    UK- I have a friend name Jerry.
